"a great love story"
Being what he was, a shifter sometimes can be great, but
then other times tear his life apart. Firefighter Niccolo
Likoris thought his life was looking up, only to fall apart
around his feet one day, or so he thought. When he was in
the burning building that was falling apart around him and
he knew he wouldn't have time to get himself and the woman
of his dreams out safely, he shifts and shows her who and
what he is. Thinking that she wouldn't want to see him
again, he figures she would want nothing to do with him
anymore. But Damini has been searching for her savior since the day
of the fire when he showed who and what he was. When she
finds out that he is on a private Fijian island, she gets
to him as fast as she can. All she knows is that this man
isn't just any man; he is the man that she could only have
dreamed of for herself. Well now she wants to make that
dream come true, and she will do anything and fight to make
him see that. She will help heal his pains and scars and
show him that she wants him for him, no matter what. This is a great love story. You have a man that has
baggage, Niccolo, and when he has to show who and what he
is he thinks that Damini wouldn't want anything to do with
a freak like him. Boy was he wrong. All Damini wanted to do
was find the man that had saved her life, the man she
wanted to share the rest of her life with. But she has a
fight on her hands to make Niccolo see that she wants him
and she wants all of what comes along with him. This is a
deeply emotional story that I highly recommend.
