"This one has it all--time travel, a witch, werewolves, demons and a vampire!"
Newly divorced, overweight, forty-three year old Belle
Harris is determined to go to her reunion, even though she
knows her abusive ex-husband will be there with his current
wife. Finally, Belle has realized just how much she has
missed out during her life. After leaving the beauty
salon, she walks out into the rain just to have a car
splash her with mud. When a bookstore owner beckons her,
Belle is more than happy to escape the storm by going
inside the store. For some strange reason, Belle finds
herself telling the owner all about her sorry existence and
how much she wishes she could go back to her twenty-fifth
year and live her life over. Surprisingly enough, the
owner, Mr. Jones, offers Belle a book and tells her to wish
very hard and repeat certain words at midnight and her wish
will come true. With nothing to lose, Belle decides to
give it a go and wakes up with her college roommate just
after they graduate in her twenty-five year old body. This
time around, Belle is determined to be the exact opposite
and won't go home with her boyfriend when she knows he'll
propose to her and she'll accept. This time, Belle is
determined to be more aggressive, to not be afraid and meet
life head on. So she decides to go spend a week with her
roommate's family. As Sonya is driving during more rain,
the car suddenly stops and they end up in an accident with
Sonya knocked out. Determined to be the new and improved
version of herself, Belle moves the car off the road and
takes off through some woods to find help. Finally, she
sees the lights of a town up ahead and heads toward it.
Some sixth sense warns Belle she's not alone anymore and
when a werewolf comes at her, Belle runs. For a long time now, Anwar Thomas has been having erotic
dreams of one particular beautiful woman. While on night
guard, Anwar is shocked when he comes across a witch in the
woods surrounding Luna Bay. And not only is the woman a
witch, but she's the woman starring in his erotic dreams.
However, Luna Bay is not an average town and it's
inhabitants are not normal human beings. Not to mention,
it's forbidden for Anwar to mate with a human, witch or not. What is the secret about Luna Bay? Will Belle be allowed
to leave the picturesque little town? Did she really see a
werewolf in the woods surrounding the town? Is there a
hope of a relationship between Belle and Anwar? LUNA BAY has a bit of everything supernatural, from
werewolves to time travel. Adrienne Kama does a wonderful
job of keeping the suspense going in this paranormal
romance. This one kept me turning pages to find out if the
hero and heroine would ever be getting around to telling
each other just what was going on. The secondary
characters are quite engaging and round out the story in an
amusing fashion, especially Gabriel. All in all, this is a
good fast-paced story.
