"A new take on Vampires that will leave you begging for more"

In Patrice Michelle's Resurrection, Ariel Swanson wrote a highly controversial fiction novel about vampires. People were very upset with her bringing up a topic so controversial as vampires. Even though the race was deemed extinct, people still feared and hated these creatures. However, Ariel wrote the novel purely as therapy to get over the deaths of her family members after they were slaughtered by these so called monsters; in fact she is the last of her family.

Not only did Ariel receive massive attention from the media about her novel but she also got the attention of Jachin Black and the Saguinas, a group of vampires that went into hiding. Both Jachin and the Saguinas live in a deadly world where they are hunted and human blood is poison to them. There is hope, however, as a prophecy is spoken of in Ariel's novel. The prophecy is something Jachin would like to see fulfilled because vampires could once again live free. In order for the prophecy to occur, Jachin must give Ariel over to Braeden, the leader of the Saguinas. This task is made more difficult by Jachin's feelings for her as well as Ariel's refusal to concede easily to his plan. Can the prophecy be fulfilled?

Scions Resurrection is an action packed adventure that takes vampire mythology to another level. This story had me on the edge of my seat and I absolutely love Patrice's new take on vampires. This book offers readers something different than what they are used to seeing in a typical vampire novel. I look forward to reading book two in the Scions series.

Everyone believed vampires were extinct.

Everyone was wrong.

When Ariel Swanson wrote a novel about vampires, she hoped it would exorcise her fear of the creatures that had, not so long ago, terrorized the human population.

Instead, it brought her to their attention.

And to the attention of Jachin Black—a man banished from the Sanguinas, a vampire clan, and forced to hunt among the despised humans. For he clung to the prophecy given years ago, of a better way for his kind to live… a prophecy Ariel unknowingly used as the basis of her novel.

Ariel hates and fears vampires. Jachin despises humanity. But the prophesy—and passion—bind them in ways they could never have imagined. Ways that may heal the past, and change the future…

Scions: A prophecy reveals hidden secrets and holds the key to fulfilling their ultimate desires.
