"a love story that is beautiful and suspenseful"
Madison's life changed the day she saw the murder, but
who's wouldn't. But the trauma on top of the demented
killer's idea of playing a game with her life, and how they
plan to end it is too much. And on top of all that, the
detective that has been assigned to the case, who is a
brooding man, but for some reason he sets her heart to
beating and causes her body to go crazy. The way Dominic
makes her feel, the passion her body feels while she is
around him makes it so hard on Madison, who is used to not
having to depend on anyone else; but for once she thinks
she feels like she could with him. Can she change a
lifetime of ways to be able to allow him in her heart and
to help watch over her and try to keep her safe? To hand
her heart over to another person is one of the hardest
things for her to do, but this man makes her feel like she
finally can. But does he feel the same for her? Dominic Morales was assigned to be head detective on a
murder case. When he sees the woman that had seen the
murder, he is drawn to her. She is a gutsy woman that is
mighty strong with someone out there that wants her dead at
any cost. The way she tempts him into wanting to make love
to her, and protect her from anyone that would dream of
hurting her; they would have to go through him first. Could
this be the real deal? Love? He never thought any woman
would be able to melt his heart, but this one has done it.
So Dominic will do anything, go above the law to protect
her from the killer that is stalking his woman, he will put
his life in danger for this woman. Wow, well just "Wow". This story rocked from the very
beginning. The intrigue and suspense made this story number
one in my book. The way Ms James wrote the story just drew
me straight off. Madison had witnessed a murder and now the
killer wants her dead at any cost. The detective, Dominic
Morales is assigned her case. But when he meets her he
wants this woman more than he ever wanted any woman. She is
sweet, and gutsy for all that she is going through and all
he wants to do is protect her at any cost. How dare a
killer want to take this woman away from him, well by God
he won't. The love story was beautiful and suspenseful; I
just loved it and want more by this author.
