"a second chance at love"
Ivy Slane thought her life had been great since she met
Traborn Morel. They had fallen in love and meet each
other's wants. All Ivy had wanted was to be dominated by
the right man and that man was Traborn. But her half
brother had thought differently. He had waited until
Traborn had tied Ivy up and recorded a spanking scene along
with many others so that he could set Traborn up for rape.
Ivy tried to make them believe that Traborn wasn't doing
anything she hadn't wanted, but nothing she said changed
their thoughts. Ivy watched as they took Traborn away and
later her half brother told her that he had been killed.
Ivy had been torn apart and wasn't sure how she was going
to live her life without Traborn in it. Now several years
later Ivy's life has changed so much from what she had been
those years before. She has her own ship with men she
trusts with her own life. So after succeeding in her last
trip, Ivy is just now putting her ship into hyper drive
when she finds someone that isn't supposed to be on her
ship; a sex slave is hiding in her cargo bays. Unknown to Ivy, Kade has hidden on her ship to get away
from the life he has known. Also unknown is that the man
that is helping Kade escape is none other than Traborn
Morel, the man from her past that she thought was dead. As
Kade is trying to get Ivy to see things his way Ivy's ship
is attacked by pirates. She is given two choices, allow
them to board her or have her and her ship blown away. Not
having much of a choice when men transport onto her ship,
Ivy and Kade are taken to the pirate. All Kade had wanted
was to get away from the hell his life had become and be
free. Kade offers his service to Traborn, but tells Traborn
that he will not see Ivy hurt. What Kade isn't aware of is
that Traborn had never stopped loving Ivy and that all he
wanted was to have her back in his life. Would Ivy make it
through the shock of seeing the man she loved more than
anything alive? With Kade's help will the two of them see
how lucky they are for having another chance at love again? This story shows that no matter how long, how far, love
conquers all. Ivy had been through so much. She had met the
man of her dreams, Traborn who can set her body ablaze with
a look, a touch. Now that the two of them have realized
they needed each other they are torn apart. Ivy had lived
the years thinking Traborn was killed. Unknown to her he
had gotten away to start a new life. Now Traborn has been
given the chance to have the woman that changed his life
and made him feel alive, loved. I loved this story and
couldn't put it down.
