"this vampire series draws me back each and every time"
The men are making love one minute, the next neither of
them have memories of who they are. How could this happen?
One of them is a vampire and one is human. But neither
knows who or what they are until one of them bites the
other during the climax of them making love, Jadoc is the
vampire as they soon learn. Jadoc and Kiether have no idea
what their names are but they know they must care or even
love each other. Kiether had fallen in love with the
vampire and they planned to live with each other until the
time that Jadoc was going to turn Kiether to keep him for
always, but it scared him because he didn't want to be a
vampire. So he ran away, but Jadoc found out and followed
him, and that is where this story meets back up. When Jadoc
remembers what he had tried to do to the man he loved, he
was ashamed of himself. He felt that Kiether deserved
better than him and was willing to leave him and let him go
back to his life. But Kiether doesn't want to now since he
sees how torn up his vampire lover is when he remembers
what he had tried to do. Should he run off with his vampire
lover to the land where it is OK to be with a vampire? Or
go back to his other life, and not be with the man he
loves? Willa Okati's vampire series draws me back each and every
time she writes another. Her style of vampires is so erotic
and passionate that I just want more. These two men were so
meant to be together, but like in any time it was forbidden
to have a vampire mated to a human, they could be put to
death. I loved the way Willa wrote where they lost their
memories and when they were with each other, remembered
together, step by step. I can't wait to see what she writes
next.
