Sylvie Durand's whole life had changed in one night. She ran the Club Carpe Nocturne, and one night she walked into her office and found a man dead. She meets her first Master on that night, Burke. He was on the run after being tried for a murder he didn't commit. She never knew about vampires, or that she was part of a breed that is able to mate with two vampires. But if things were not wild enough, her other mate was Miko Dvorak, an Excoluni Officer who is out to capture Burke and put him away. All Sylvie knew was that she loved them both, and wanted them to be free to love and be with each other. But that wouldn't happen until Burke is proven innocent, and the real killer is found. But if they all knew how close the real killer was it would blow them all away. But her two Masters must put aside their differences and learn to trust each other because they will need that when Sylvie is taken by the real killer to sacrifice her for his true love.

Burke and Miko must find common ground before it is too late and they lose the woman they love. Miko is torn; he has always wanted to be an Excoluni Officer since his father was one, then his brother. But he has come to terms that he must put that aside for his two mates, Sylvia and Burke and find the real killer before it is too late. When their mate Sylvia is taken the two men almost go crazy with fear of losing her. Will they be in time?

Tawny Taylor blew me away with this series. I love the why she built the story with each book. To have one hot vampire would be any woman's dream, but two, "hot damn" I am so there. I loved the way that Burke and Miko take her in hand and awaken the true woman inside that loves to submit. The way that these two men are the only ones to be able to help heal past hurts that she went through as a child is a great building storyline throughout. I love anything Tawny writes because she has a gift and is able to draw you in to her stories from beginning to the end.
