Devlin does not disappoint in Seduced by Darkness. In a
class of her own, Ms. Devlin's Dark Realm series is
devastatingly erotic and pushes the boundaries in both
premise and sexual explicitness. Ms. Devlin pens in an
uncharted territory that will leave the readers breathless
and hungering for more. Nicolas is a Revenant (made vampire) that was once human
and now is not. It was because of his loyalty and reverence
as a Templar Knight, that he was chosen long ago to be the
one to imprison and watch over the most evil of evil—the
Devourer. Though he might at one time have been a celibate
man, over the years, he has honed his sexual expertise to
the point of a fine art. He can make a woman scream with
ecstasy or moan over and over again from the savage demand
of his wicked mouth, tongue, and body. There is no degree
he will not go to get the woman he desires above all else,
Chessa. And his brand of erotic forcefulness is just what
this seemingly hard-hearted Born (vampire at birth), Chessa
craves. With the release of the demon, both Nicolas and
Chessa's feelings will evolve, alter as their very lives
are in danger and secrets are exposed. If you have not read the first book in this erotic
paranormal series, Into the Darkness, do! Once you have
read it, you will be hooked on Ms. Devlin's highly erotic
voice and larger-than-life characters. The next book after
Seduced by Darkness, in the Dark Realm series, is
tentatively titled, Darkness Rising. And, this reviewer
cannot wait to see what happens next to this sexually
charged couple as more of their lives unfold.
