"Sophie Green...class is waiting!"
Sophie finally gets the opportunity to visit America, see
the "Big Apple" and visit Broadway; however, it would have
been much more fun if it could have been for vacation
instead of on the tail end of a vacation that left her
dragging and ready to catch up on some sleep. She's just
returning from vacation and is desperately missing Luke
when the assignment to go to New York comes in as she is
driving home from the airport. Sophie is ordered to act as
bait to keep a businessman from returning to Europe.
However, the "catch" is found dead and the antics begin. Sophie is assigned to follow the son of the deceased but
that means returning to school, High School in England.
Something Sophie didn't like to begin with. She was an
art student and didn't like book learning. And how could
she work on her relationship with Luke while pretending to
be 17? During this job assignment Sophie's usual missteps, smart
liners and chaos continues. She is nearly killed while
being ran down by a vehicle, stabbed with a needle and yet
continues running into old friends while chasing down the
killer. I loved her dealing with life as a 17 year old, dancing
around explanations of her boyfriend, car and all those
cell phones to her teenage friends.
Each Sophie Green story gets better and better. Can't wait
to see what is next. BTW: Where is the blown up car?
