"a strong, interesting love story"
Nikos had always known he was different than his clansmen.
His body has been telling him for a while now. Nikos has
been having weird dreams of the Nightlings, but they are
erotic dreams and Nikos has no idea why he would be having
them since his whole life he has been told that the
Nightlings were pure evil. How could they be when in his
dreams they make him feel normal? Nikos has known that he
was promised to Rand. But Nikos doesn't love him, so is he
doing the right thing just excepting his fate? Then the so
called evil being Alexei, one of the Nightlings comes to
Nikos to tell him he was meant for him, not Rand. Could
Alexei be telling him the truth? When Rand steps in and
tells Alexei to leave Nikos and now, Alexei tells him he
will be back for Nikos because Nikos is "His". Nikos life
goes back to normal, or as normal as his life could be
until the night Alexei comes back to fulfill his promise.
Is what Alexei is telling him the truth? And if so, why? Willa Okati did it again. She wrote a strong, interesting
love story that showed even with the obstacles; in the end
love conquers all. No matter where he was taken Alexei
found him and took him for his own like he had been meant
to do. I just wish this story had been longer to show these
two men's story in more depth. But no matter what length
this story is it still explodes off the pages and gives you
all you could want. I can't wait to see what Willa Okati
comes up with next.

| SUMMARY |

Strange dreams tell Nikos that he is more than what he seems. They promise him that he is meant to be more than a Secret Keeper, one who can track the predatory Nightlings. That he is more than an arranged mate to Rand, chief of the Hunters, a cruel and careless man.
When Nikos hunts a persistent and dangerous Nightling named Alexei, he finds the answers to all his questions. Alexei is a time traveler from the past who has come to find Nikos -- and take him back to the year 2007, where he insists Nikos is meant to be. It’s going to be a wild ride…
