"a powerful story of overcoming anger and prejudice"
Dimitri Spalto would fight to the death to keep his pack
growing. As the pack leader it was his place to keep them
safe and thriving. But now it has come down to he must keep
his pack from separating, where his pack would be easy prey
for the prejudice that has always surrounded them. He must
be strong and fight against others that want to
discriminate against him and his fellow Malta members. But
in doing this he will have to face his own prejudices that
lie in him, he can't ask for others to be free of
prejudices when he carries some himself. The Malta pack has
always been different, special. And in being special others
have feared them due to things they can do that other
werewolf packs can't, and the extrasensory gift that many
of the pack have, but Dimitri is one of the pack that
doesn't have this power. So not being able to master this
gift that many other weres have has caused him to have
anger. And that anger is stopping him from seeing the
feelings he has inside for Rosa Anthony. But he doesn't
want to feel anything for her because of his hatred with
her den. But Dimitri has to come to terms with these
feelings if he wants to have her as his mate, and that will
take a lot to get over the past pains and hurt by her den.
He is running out of time, and the only way to get Rosa is
to go bellying up to the person he hates the most, his
nemesis, and in doing this it could save him and his pack
and give him the future he so wants with the woman he
loves, Rosa. Lorie O'Clare just builds on this wonderful Werewolves of
Malta series. Dimitri and his pack have been the outcasts
of fellow packs due to the gift some of his pack carry. He
has to overcome his anger over never being able to master
the gift and to understand how it worked. And in doing this
he will be able to see clearly that Rosa Anthony is his
true mate. But she comes from a den where he has such
hatred in him for his nemesis in that pack. But he must get
past these feelings to have the woman he loves, that he
wants for his mate. Lorie O'Clare writes such strong story
lines that I can't put the book down and always want more
when I finish each story, which shows what a "Great" author
she is.

Dimitri Spalto fought to be pack leader of the Malta werewolves. Now he must fight to keep his pack from falling apart and becoming prey to the prejudice that surrounds them. First he must deal with other breeds discriminating against Malta werewolves. Then Dimitri is forced to come face-to-face with the prejudice that lies within him. Malta werewolves are special, and feared, because of the extrasensory gift many of them have…except for Dimitri. His grudge against the gift he could never master might prevent him from seeing how he really feels about beautiful Rosa Anthony. Acknowledging his hatred toward her den is simple. But realizing that the only way he can have her for his mate is to overcome that anger takes all the strength he possesses. And the clock is ticking. He can have Rosa until death, but only after bellying up to his nemesis…and saving his pack before it's too late. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Sexual Content: Rated E-rotic
