"A spell from the heart casts heavenly love"
Though written for Halloween, this hot little story goes
way past trick or treat. Renee is a witch from a war-torn
alternative reality where paranormal races struggle to
exist. It has been a long time since she felt the pleasures
and emotions of being with someone who not only wants her,
but truly cares. She is desperate enough to resort to
casting a powerful spell, then begging the God and Goddess
to send her the soul-mate she so deeply desires. Zachary is pulled from a pleasurable interlude in the
immortal realm into Renee's bed. After a good look, he is
unable to resist her beauty. Then again, satyrs aren't
known for refusing the pleasures of the flesh. Lust is the
focus of their lives, and he focuses a great deal of it on
the unsuspecting Renee. She gives as good as she gets, but
in the bright light of day, they realize it will be a
difficult match, even if it was made in heaven. Zachary
decides she is worth whatever price there is to pay. The central characters give this story its strength and
charm. You are immediately drawn into their world, and
their dilemma. Renee is the epitome of the woman who still
believes in love, and will do anything in her powers to
find it. Zachary's willingness to sacrifice everything to
make a life with her will bring a sigh to any heart. You'll
want to read it straight through once it casts its singular
spell. It only takes fifty one pages to prove that love
creates it's own kind of magic. Spells at Midnight is an
intriguing and heart-felt read that brings you along a
smooth and satisfying path where you can cheer our lovers
on. Jenna Castille has given us two romantic souls who are
destined to be together. Forever.
