"a romantic vampire love story"
All Carrie Holiday wanted to do was find her sister's
missing ex-husband. The danger was high and for a librarian
all of it was new for Carrie. But she never thought in a
million years that this search would connect between her
sister's ex and Carrie's extremely hot neighbor, Luke. And
to top it off Luke didn't even know she was alive. If only
Carrie could get him to see her. Luke Nolan is a vampire
who by night is a private investigator. Then he spends his
days thinking and fantasizing about his neighbor Carrie.
But all of that changes when the two of them work together
to find out what happened to the missing ex brother-in-law.
Luke knew it would be hard to keep his hands off of Carrie,
but even with fighting himself, he just can't; he must have
her. But no matter what he must keep what he is a secret
from Carrie; he isn't sure how she would take it. If she
knew he was a two hundred year old vampire it might just
shock her beyond her endurance. Can the two of them,
working together, find the missing man? Can Luke be wrong
about how Carrie would take it? She just might shock him. I have loved Elisa Adams since the first book I read by her
a few years back. I feel lucky to have the chance to review
her work and let others know what a fine writer she is.
This story not only has a great storyline, it had the heat
and passion that goes with a great romantic vampire love
story. Elisa gave the reader a great blend of action and
emotions. I will always try to review anything Elisa Adams
writes because I believe in this author and her books.
