"this story has humor and heart"
Being a divorced woman makes Leanne Jamison see how lucky
she is having the two best friends she has. They have been
through the hard times, helped her through them. She and
her two best friends' business caters to single men needing
someone to help them with business dinners. So while
helping out at one of those business dinners she meets Mike
Andrews. When she first sets eyes on Mike she is in heaven,
the man was damn hot. Mike is a very successful marriage
counselor who is the happy father of a set of twins. When
he sees Leanne for the first time, he thinks he has died
and gone to heaven, and what a way to go. Mike starts to
see how perfect she would be as his wife for the dinner he
has going with the new publisher. He just knows that she
would be perfect for what he needs, to be his "Wife" for
this dinner to make him look better. So he talks to Leanne
to see if she would be willing. When he says that he wants
her to play his "Wife" for the dinner Leanne isn't so sure.
But when she sees how strong their attraction really is she
thinks "Why Not", and goes for it. But what they thought
would be one of the greatest nights turns sour when both of
their ex's show up. Will their new budding relationship
make it through meddling, the way that their thoughts on
marriage were? It comes down to this; they both deserve to
have each other in their lives. They need each other more
than they think. They deserve a future with each other, the
love they can share. Will they have that future? Take the
chance? Summer Jordan's gift of writing really showed in this
story. I love the way she wrote the hilarious scenes with
the twins. The way she wrote Mike and his thoughts on
marriages and why sometimes they break up. I loved this
story because it is a story that could happen in life. She
showed that even after divorce you can still find your soul
mate out there, the one that you should have been with all
along. These types of stories should be written more often
than they are.
