"a fun magical story"
Temperance Callahan is opening up a mystical/magic shop,
Mystic Circle in an old building that she and her
grandmother loved when she was younger. Her contractor
bought some materials and ran off with the rest of her
money. So she enlists the help of her long time friend,
Morgan to help her find a new contractor to finish the job. Gray Foster is a contractor and Morgan's half brother; she
had asked him to help her friend Tem get her shop fixed
up. Grey does not believe in magic or the possibility of
anything mystical, but he does believe he would like to
get to know Tem better. He especially likes the way she
has grown up, curves and all. The feeling is mutual, Tem
has had the hots for Grey since she hit puberty and upon
seeing him again, she realizes the feeling is still there. While working on a special sex spell for a friend, she
gets interrupted by Grey and thinks his coming on to her
is due to that. Will Grey be able to convince Tem that he
really is attracted to her and that it is not just a magic
spell gone awry? Will Tem be able to realize that a hot
attractive guy could think she is sexy, curves and all, or
will her own insecurities get in the way? I loved this story! The quirky humor and wit, human
characters and a real life setting, make this a fun read.
It also reminds us that no matter how old we are or what
we have done with our life, how we were treated in school
affected us and who we are. Bronwyn Green has written a
fun magical story with real life characters and setting.
