"a different kind of love story"
After going through rehab, the only thing Lauren King
wanted was to go home, relax and take off her shoes. Now
Lauren's home is not the normal home like most people
have, oh no, but it is hers and she loves it. Another
thing that she loves and it relaxes her is her antique
motorcycle, which on one day of being, well different, she
named it Jake. If only Lauren could have known when she
named it a "man's" name how close to fact she really was.
Unknown to Lauren was that her German motorcycle is not a
normal one at all, hers has the ability to change, shift
into a man. And not any man, but the man of her dreams.
These bikes are made be Klaus Mannhof, and his are able to
do more than just be a motorcycle, and he made this bike
just for Lauren. Jake will show Lauren how lucky she
really is. He will show her how special and loving she is,
and that she deserves so much more than what she has given
herself. Will Lauren let this man teach her to love
herself again, to look past her past hurts and realize who
she is? And will his love be enough? I went into this series on the second book, but let me
tell you I am not walking, but running to get the first
one to read. I loved how different this story was from the
usual. The author took a woman that was kind of broken and
gave her a man that showed her that she was worth so much
more than what she thought she was. It was very well
written and I look forward to reading more by this author.
