"an emotional story of love and loss"
Times have been so bad since he heard his brother had been
killed in action over in Iraq. His brother wasn't only his
best friend, but the best brother anyone could have ever
asked for. The only thing that kept him going was his work
as a social worker at the hospital. . The only thing that
helps is talking to his brother when he goes to his grave.
Tim knows he needs to get on with his life. And he knows
that his brother Todd wouldn't want him the way he had
become, he would want him to live and have some fun. Ty is
a man that is in the same line of work as his brother was,
someone Tim can help when he couldn't help his brother. Ty
has a lot of anger built up and isn't doing well or
getting past it in the hospital, so Tim's boss thinks that
he is the perfect person to handle this man, since they
are around the same age. But as time goes on he starts to
feel for this man, and Tim wants more than anything to
help him to get past the anger and pain as best he can.
What Tim doesn't know is that Ty has some secrets he is
hiding, and when they come out will it tear them apart? Or
will it bring them closer together? Ty, a Marine Corp Warrior has had some hard times. He has
lost so many people he loved and cared about and has so
much anger from it. When he comes to the hospital and
meets the brother of a man he had known quite well, he
feels so drawn to this man. Ty can't believe his luck. How
will Ty deal with it when he tells Tim the secrets he is
holding? Can he let himself care and love this man that he
knew through his brother Todd? Will these two have the
future that they both deserve, and help each other through
the pain of losing someone they loved? This book was one of the greatest m/m books I have read.
Having the author pick what is going on over in Iraq, and
to make a story like this is what drew me. The pain that a
lot of people are going through themselves and how love
and a good person in your life can help you get through
these times, it was very emotional. I will be looking for
more from author Bobby Michaels.

| SUMMARY |
|
Tim's loss of his brother, Todd, a young marine in Iraq, leaves a big hole in his life. He tries desperately to fill his heart by working as a hospital social worker, but his weekly visits to his brother's grave are his only true comfort. Into the hospital and into Tim's life comes a huge, muscular, young guy named Ty, sporting a Marine Corp tattoo just like the one that Tim remembers his brother wearing. He also sports a heavy load of anger and attitude. Ty is causing quite an uproar in the hospital ward, refusing to acclimate himself to the hospital's routine. Tim's boss feels that someone closer to his own age may help Ty become more cooperative and so she assigns Ty's case to Tim. Cooperative or not, Tim finds himself caring deeply for the former warrior. Ty, however, has secrets in his past. Secrets that have more to do with Tim than he realizes. Secrets that will draw Tim and Ty closer than either ever thought possible.
