"great addition to this m/m vampire series"
Since the day Lyall entered into Janus' life things have
been so much better for Janus. The sex is "Hot and
Intense", the strong feelings he brings out in Janus, and
he will do anything for Lyall. Through Janus' vampire
years he had avoided a lot, I mean being a vampire
sometimes is hard enough, with all the other vampires that
might want you dead, competition, and the human hunters,
well don't get him started on them. So now all those
things he tried to avoid through the years are now coming
down and coming down hard. And in the process he has been
left with a vampire Lieutenant that has no love loss for
him, Lines that fight right and left with his body. But
the one thing that is sane and going well is his Lyall.
Sex is still "hot and great". Then you have Vision, another Vampire that has been
through hard times but now he is on the upswing and has a
man that he loves more than anything, Hanz. Hanz is the
most perfect Lieutenant that he could have ever asked for.
Hanz knew what he was doing; he kept Vision's life in
pretty good order. And the great thing about Hanz is that
he can take control away from Vision even when vision is
the Boss, but there are times Vision needs someone to
dominate him and take control away, and Boy does Hanz do
that. When he thought his life couldn't be any better, in
walks his past love Seraph. They had been made around the
same time and had gone though so much with each other. But
then Seraph turned his back on him and turned against him
for another, which hurt Vision. Now it is years later and
his life is back to normal or as normal as it can be.
Seraph now works for Lore, a new vampire that wants to
take over an older vampire's area. Then all hell breaks
lose when Lore takes Lyall, and Janus and Vision must work
together to get him back. Janus and Vision have a history
of not getting along, but they must put that aside to work
together. Will they find Lyall in time? I so love this series, I have read each one in order and
they just get better and better. I love the way Angela
Fiddler has made a new type of vampire, one I have never
read before. To me, a Lover of Vampire books, this was
such a nice new read. I loved the way the author wrote
Vison and Hanz's relationship. You have Vision who is a
younger vampire but stronger than some of the older
vampires. So Vision has to be strong and smart, but when
Hanz takes control, oh he takes control away from Vision
and gives Vision times when he doesn't have to always be
in control, to me that was "Hot". I loved the way she took
the men from book 1 and book 2 and wrote this 3rd book
with all of them having to work together to save the ones
they love. I hope Angela Fiddler writes more books and
expands into shape shifters or really any genre, because
she is a gifted writer.

| SUMMARY |
|
Ever since Janus took in Lyall, the only sticky situations he found himself in involved duct tape and maple syrup. All that changes when a new elder, Lore, enters the picture. His brutal touch can absorb power and talent from anything or anyone he wants. To combat him, Janus`s master asks Janus for a small favor. Or rather, a large favor. Suddenly all the responsibility Janus had spent his vampire life avoiding catches up to him. Afterwards, he's left with a lieutenant who hates him, lines that are already under attack, and sex with Lyall that is...well, okay. That's still spectacular. As for Vision, things should have been easy. Hanz is his perfect lieutenant, yet can still put Vision in his place and use him like no one else. Then along comes his ex, Seraph, under Lore's orders, sniffing around his Hanz. It's not like Vision can blame Hanz for finding Seraph irresistible. As the lines continue to bleed out, it challenges everything. Vision must also repay an old favor, which has to be paid on his knees. It may cost him everything he has, but it's not personal until Lore snatches Lyall. Janus and Vision haven't seen eye-to-eye on a lot of things, but if there is one thing they can agree on it is `favor` is a four letter word.
