"very entertaining paranormal romance"
Carmen Cole has made it her mission to unmask superheroes
and
ubervillians, ever since she found her fiance and best
friend in bed
together on her wedding day and discovered that they were
a superhero
and ubervillian, respectively. Carmen has moved to
Bigtime, New York
and taken a job at The Expose and hopes to unmask the
Fearless Five and
the Terrible Triad. When Carmen unmasks one of the
Fearless Five, the
Tornado, and he commits suicide, she decides to stop her
quest. Later,
Carmen is kidnapped and threatened by the Terrible Triad,
because they
want her to discover the secret identity of the leader of
the Fearless
Five, Striker. Carmen hopes to thwart the Terrible Triad
with the help
of the Fearless Five, but the Terrible Triad don't give up
easily. KARMA GIRL is a very entertaining paranormal romance
with many
humorous scenes. Carmen makes a great heroine with her
wise-cracking
and need to make amends for her mistakes. Striker is a
wonderfully
dark, broody hero with a dry wit. They make a great
couple and the
rest
of the Fearless Five are very much a family. I hope Ms.
Estep decides
to set more books in her superhero world. KARMA GIRL is
highly
recommended, especially for lovers of comic books.
