The brothers Satyr, Nick, Raine and Lyon have received a dispatch from King Feydon of the ElseWorld. In it, the dying king wishes that they find his three half fey and half human daughters and protect them. These women have been raised in the EarthWorld not knowing that they are his daughters, and it is up to the brothers Satyr to find them. And the only way to protect them will be in marriage.

Nick and his brothers are shifting Satyrs. During the Calling night, they change into their sexually primal forms, ones that not only change their appearance, but give them unique physical anomalies as well. On these occasions, surreal like women come to the brothers providing them with sexual release. They use these women called Shimmerskins, over and over.

It will be Nick who goes to Rome in search of one of the king's daughters. He finds her through the Faerie fragrance she exudes, yet somehow things get twisted and he goes for the wrong girl. He will figure this out and when he does, nothing will stand in his way of obtaining her, even if she is a spitfire of a woman! But this story is more than Nick finding her; it is about what transpires between them and the obstacles that they both will encounter along the way.

The Lords of Satyr -- Book 1 is the first in a series by author Elizabeth Amber. With a highly erotic pen, Ms. Amber wrote a scorching historical paranormal of three sexual dominating brothers and their struggles to come in finding the three daughters of King Feydon. Ms. Amber's voice is visually stimulating. She gives great depth to her characters and the dialogues are smooth and natural. Everything about this story and the elements within worked.

One of this reviewer's favorites is historical paranormal erotic and Ms. Amber delivered a wonderful book that did not disappoint!
