"I couldn't put this book down!"

Peregrine's life hasn't always been easy. Being the Bastard son of the king isn't all it is cracked up to be. Being a witch has helped Peregrine and given him some of the power he needed. But since he is who he is, others don't want him around to some day take the throne. Having all those against him is difficult, and when one of them sends a demon to try to kill him, he knows he is running out of time. He must go forward and take the power in his hands and take over the throne. Winter the Demon has been bound to a Witch that wants Peregrine dead at any cost. The Demon is sent to kill him, but instead he rethinks it, thank god for Peregrine. Peregrine finds himself being drawn to this Demon/Man. Winter isn't all he seems, he has a kind side that goes against the Demon side. This draws Peregrine to Winter even more. Can these two work together to go against the ones that want Peregrine dead at any cost? Can these men that have grown to love each other have the future that they crave with one another?

"Wow" I couldn't put this book down. The authors were able to bring out the gentle side of the Demon that most think is just pure evil. This drew me and made me want this Demon/Man to get his man no matter what. Right now it seems I am more and more drawn to this genre that seems to be gaining popularity. I know I will read what ever else these authors' have written and look forward to reading anything they write.

Bastard son of the king and member of the magic-wielders Council, Peregrine the witch has a lot of power. He also has powerful rivals. When one summons a demon to kill him and destroy his line, he must find a way to stop him and gain the throne.
