"a story you can't put down"
When Carlee meets Trey at a singles retreat she feels in
her soul that they are soul mates. What she does know is
that they were meant to be together, but had been torn
apart in there past lives. Carlee and Trey had been in
love but had been torn apart because of that love. She had
lost him, her mother and the home she had known. She
promised she would wait for the man she loved, even if it
took forever. So when they are given another chance in
this life and Trey doesn't remember there past, Carlee is
very upset. Carlee is not sure if she wants to take the
chance and go through all the hurt she did before, was it
all worth it? Can she look past this and give them a
chance for the life they were meant for in the past? Or
will she let fear control what she wants?
When Trey meets Carlee at the singles retreat, all he
knows is that this woman makes him feel things he hasn't
felt in a long time, or ever. When she tells him about
their past lives and what happened, for the life of him he
can't remember. All Trey knows is that he wants to be
given a chance with this woman, and not have to correct
past mistakes when he doesn't even remember them. Can he
get her to see that they are meant to have a life
together "now" and not to live on past hurts and fears?
Will they both be able to get past the hurts of past lives
and have the life they were meant to have? Or let fears
control them both?
Well again Marilyn Lee did it! She knows how to write a
story that you can't put down no matter what life or
family wants done. I sat down and read it so fast that I
was sad when I turned the last page; that is how good her
stories are. She writes a story that makes you believe;
makes you think that if you don't have your soul mate,
that there is a chance that you will. I can't wait for the
next book by this "Great" author.

Two souls torn apart -- and a love stronger than time
On a Virginia plantation, Carlee lost her mother, her home, and the young man she loved, Trey Brandauer, when she was sold to keep them apart. Clinging to Trey’s promise to find her again, Carlee vowed to wait for him -- forever if necessary.
When Carlee meets Trey at a singles’ retreat, she believes they are soul mates, destined to be reunited. But Trey doesn’t remember their past. Although annoyed that Carlee expects him to atone for a non-existent past, Trey has never wanted any woman more. To claim Carlee, he must first convince her that he won’t hurt her again.
Despite her doubts, Trey is still the man Carlee once loved, and she quickly falls in love all over again. When Trey abruptly ends their relationship, Carlee fears that barring a miracle, she has lost her one true soul mate -- this time forever.
