woman in the middle of a messy divorce. With her husband
off doing drugs, playing around and doing God alone knows
what, Sidney still can't relax because he has the key to

goes to her best friend Leonora for help. Since Leonora is
a cop, she's got sources Sidney doesn't and recommends a

love to her night after night after night? In the next story in this anthology, VAMPED by Monica
Jackson, we are treated to vampires. Finally happy now,
Joy has the man of her dreams in her fiancé Andre. Not
only is he one gorgeous hunk of man, he's also a terrific
chef. The only problem in her relationship is the fact
Andre never goes anywhere. It's home, to work and back
home. Well, Joy has determined tonight will be different.
If she doesn't show Andre off to the women she works with,
she'll never be able to show her face again. So off they
go to the club and Andre ends up leaving with another
woman. After catching a cab, Joy gets to Andre's home and
finds him in bed with another woman and she's biting his
neck! That's more than enough for Joy, and she goes after
the woman and decides to enact some vengeance of her own.
After literally tearing out the other woman's throat, and
drinking some of the other woman's blood in the process,
Joy finally gets Andre to the hospital. At that point, he
finally confesses to have been bitten by this particular
vampire and since that time, he has become a food source
to her and Andre hates vampires with everything in him. Will Joy become a vampire? Will she have the chance of a
future with Andre? What of the vampire? Will the two of
them be able to destroy her? Our fourth story, BALANCING THE SCALES by J.M. Jeffries,
takes a different paranormal path. When singer Paloma
comes home early from a trip, she's the one surprised when
she finds her husband in her bed with another woman. When
it turns out her husband has also managed to take all her
money and her jewelry, Paloma decides to get even. Even
though she receives several offers of being made a widow,
Paloma wants her husband to suffer. So she goes to the one
person she knows can help her—her aunt, Miss Odile in the
Louisiana bayous. When she explains what happened and what
she wants, Miss Odile makes a charm for her, a shell
necklace, but there is a price to pay for Miss Odile's
help. The one thing Miss Odile wants from Paloma is
Paloma's voice. Will Paloma give up singing to get her revenge? Will her
cheating husband be destroyed? Will Paloma still have a
life if she does go after revenge? Our final story, AVENGING ANGEL by Janice Sims, introduces
us to a different type of paranormal figure, the Nephilim.
In our story, we have two groups of Nephilim—the Sons of
the Morning Star, who follow Satan, and the Grigori, who
follow God. Sarai, a Chicago cop, and her family are
Grigori. And after Nicholas Armaros, a Son of the Morning
Star, broke her heart, Sarai met and fell in love with a

die, he decides Sarai will give him a son. Since Nicholas

he must come up with a devious plan to impregnate her. Will Sarai carry Nicholas' child? What of her husband? CREEPIN' is an anthology of paranormal stories with one
thing linking them all—all of the women in these stories
have been betrayed and they all find different ways of
