"GODDESS OF LOVE is a charming, humorous story"
GODDESS OF LOVE is Book 5 in the Berkley Goddess Summoning
Books by P.C. Cast. Pea Chamberlain has a major crush on
Griffin DeAngelo, the captain of the fire department. She
just has one small problem: He doesn't remember her, even
though they've met several times before. So, Pea decides
to work a invocation spell to summon Venus, the Goddess of
Love, to help her out. Luckily for Pea, Hera, Venus's
mother-in-law, is watching the scene and binds Venus to
Pea until Pea has achieved her goal of finding happiness. Complications ensue, however, as Venus finds herself
falling in love with Griffin. As for Pea, Vulcan, the God
of Fire and Venus's husband, falls in love with her as he
watches from afar. So, will Griffin fall in love with
Venus or with Pea? Which hero will Pea ultimately end up
with? With likeable characters, a whimsical plot, and witty
dialogue, GODDESS OF LOVE is a charming, humorous story
that will keep the reader immersed throughout. This is the
first book by P.C. Cast that I've read, and now that I've
finished it, I look forward to checking out the other
books in the Goddess series. P.C. Cast is definitely an
author to watch in the paranormal romance genre. Courtesy: Sara Freeze,

When it comes to romance, even the experts don't know it all...
With "humor and verve," (Publishers Weekly) Cast tells the story of
the mythical Venus who comes to life to help a nerdy woman find her
inner goddess. Pea Chamberlain needs a makeover-shoes, hair, clothes, make-up-if she
wants to attract an bersexy fireman. And who could better coax Pea
out of her pod than the Goddess of Love, whom she invokes in a moment
of desperation? Venus works her magic on Pea, but who will help her when she falls for
that same sexy fireman? Could Venus need a love makeover for herself?
Check out the five-alarm heat when the Goddess of Love unexpectedly
loses her heart.
