"an intense vampire romance"
You would think after working in a gay dance club as a
bartender he would get used to men trying to pick him up,
at times it can be fun and other times it can be a pain in
the ass. He is past the times were he just wanted to have
some fun and walk away. He wants someone to love and be
loved back, someone to go home to or know is at home when
you have a bad day at work, and know when you get home he
will be there to hold you, make love to you. That is what
Peter wanted more than anything. When he sets eyes on
Lucien for the first time, he knows he will give anything
to have this man! This man has the body for sin, and he
wanted him to do that sinning with him. But when Peter
finds out that Lucien is not just a man, he is the Head
Vampire, to him that is too much. Peter has a fear of
Vampires, but as Peter finds out a little fear won't hurt
anyone. Will Peter let Lucien show Peter that him being a
vampire is not a bad thing, but a good thing? Lucien is the Head Vampire of the local Vampires. When
Lucien sees Peter for the first time, he sees a man that
is so beautiful, but so not aware of that fact; that alone
draws him to this man. Lucien is a strong and dominant man
and when he sees what he wants, he goes after it with a
passion; and Peter is what he wants. Lucien knows he has a
battle with Peter and his fear. He wants this man not to
fear him, but see the side of him that is growing to love
Peter more than anything and will do what ever it takes to
keep this man safe, and loved. Will Lucien be able to help
Peter past his fear of vampires? All Lucien knows is that
Peter is his "Soul Mate" and he will do what ever it takes
to show him this fact. This book made me laugh, cry, get so hot, and then feel so
much warmth because of the love shared by these two soul
mates. To me a story that has one of the men an Alpha and
dominant man, to me is so damn "Hot". But it was done in a
loving way, not in a painful way. I have a passion for
Vampire stories as it is, but this story of these two men
just set the pages on fire. I know I will read all of this
author's books; I look forward to reading the second in
this series.

Houston nightclub Rave is famous for nearly-naked male dancers and beautiful bartenders. It's a club for hedonists and playboys. Like Peter, a young man with a strict rule about one-night stands. He breaks that rule for Lucien, the owner of The Den, a rival gay nightclub where there are no boundaries, no taboos. Anything goes at The Den, including vampires. When Peter finds out about Lucien's vampire nature, he figures he should have stuck to his rule. He's not a vampire fan, after all, and Lucien pulls him into a dark world of vampires, werewolves and feuding in-laws. Peter resists Lucien as long as he can, but when he gives in, he does it in a big way. Peter and Lucien begin a very dangerous dance of sensual heat and deep emotion, one that causes them nothing but trouble. No one approves of the human and vampire match, including the Council, old enemies and even older friends. Peter and Lucien have to struggle to stay together and protect those they love. Can they beat the forces that will try to tear them apart forever? And can they face what will become of Peter if they stay together?
