"Fast-Paced Adventure!"
Jack Mitchell is working undercover to nail Pablo Corona,
the biggest mob boss on the east coast. However, Jack's
informant is found dead and the FBI thinks he's switched
sides. His only hope is Aubrey Sullivan, a librarian,
with a photographic memory. Corona has put a contract on
her head. If Jack can keep Aubrey alive long enough to
find out what she knows, he'll be able to clear his name,
too. Aubrey isn't sure if she can trust Jack and does all
things possible to make it difficult for him to keep her
safe. If the mob doesn't kill her, Jack just might. Bumbling hit men chase them, wild car chases, and a jaunt
through the Blue Ridge Parkway are only a part of Jack and
Aubrey's ordeal. Bickering between the two is explosive
and sometimes laugh out loud funny. This story is a fast-
paced adventure with two very stubborn people who have
more in common than they think; courage, stubbornness and
the fact they both don't think mortality applies to them.

steps ahead of the mob without killing each other in the
process. Courtesy: Karen
