"A Web of Intrigue and Sultry Drama"
This is the fourth book in the Vampire Huntress legend. The Master Vamps have stolen one of the seven keys, 'the
living blood of Christ.' If they find the sixth seal,
Armageddon will begin. The one who possesses both of them
will decide the outcome. The Dark Council wants the key
and of course, the Light wants to make sure they don't
find it. Damali Richards is the Neteru and Vampire Huntress.
Carlos is a sexy Master Vamp. They can't seem to keep
their hands—or fangs away from each other. Carlos has
bitten Damali one too many times and she has developed
some fangs of her own, which has everyone concerned. The
Guardian team performs a ritual in hopes of keeping Damali
from turning into a full-fledged vampire. Carlos is still working all sides. He promises the
Council he will find the key and give them Damali, while
he promises the Light he will protect Damali and find the
key for them. Carlos decides to ask for help in finding
the key. He involves Berkfield, a human detective.
Damali and Carlos embark on a very dangerous game of their
own. They set out to best four very old and very powerful
Master Vamps. To do this, Carlos makes a secret drug
called Oblivion. If it falls into the wrong hands,
nothing they do will matter for all hell will break loose. I love how strong and determined Damali is, while never
forgetting how wonderful it is to be a woman. Carlos is
the bad boy with an attitude, but he is courageous to a
fault. He loves Damali with all his heart. He will move
heaven and hell to prove it! This story is a web of vampire politics, intrigue and
sultry drama. Ms. Banks takes you on a rollercoaster ride
of good versus evil where the stakes may be too high.
