"Riviting Tale!"
Damali Richards is the star of Warriors of Light Records.
She is also a vampire huntress. Seven Guardians, who have
special powers, stand by Damali and protect her if the
need arises. They're also part of her band. Fallon Nuit is a Master Vampire that uses his recording
label as a front for his empire of drug dealing gangsters
and his controls of most of the world's economy. Against
the Vampire Council, Nuit has created rogue hybrid-
vampires. The Council wants to eliminate Nuit as much as
the Guardian team does. Carlos Rivera is a good-looking and smooth dealer that is
on the wrong side of the law. Damali and Carlos were
close friends once. Damali loved him, but she chose not
to associate with Carlos because of his poor choices in
life, but when unusual murders surround Carlos, she goes
to see him. Old feelings resurface and she tries to warn
him of the evil that is coming, but Carlos doesn't believe
in such things as demons, but all that is about to
change. He makes a deal with Nuit that alters his life
forever. Damali finds out that on her 21st birthday she will gain
her full powers making her superhuman. This is all great,
but she also will go through the ripening, which means
every male vampire will literally go nuts around her.
They will kill to have her. This is not a good thing when
she's out to eliminate a Master Vampire. It also
complicated matters that she's in love with Carlos, who
may or may not be lost to the dark side. The Guardians
have every right not to trust Carlos, but he loves Damali
and vows to keep her safe, even if it is at the cost of
his own soul. Ms. Banks has written a tale where she has interwoven
myth, religion, voodoo, and historical facts into this
paranormal masterpiece. This is an action-packed story
where the atmosphere is dark and gritty. It's about good
versus evil, heaven and hell and the path one chooses to
take. It's a riveting tale that shouldn't be missed. Courtesy: Karen
