"A tale of lust, vengeance, and betrayal."
Gararic seeks the Black Witch, first to force her to
denounce and give up the traitor among his people, then to
take her life, believing she is responsible for the recent
death of his father, the king. Unfortunately, the Black Witch, Dianaria, has been
haunting his dreams, and drawing him to her. What's more,
she is the most beguiling creature he has ever seen, and
his traitorous body responds hotly. When he finally does
catch up to her, all is not what it seems. Will he be able
to keep his resolve to kill her, and thereby save his
people from her army? Dreamwalker is a swift tale of lust, vengeance, and
betrayal, and the discovery of truth amid lies. It's a
fast easy read with hints of the northern mythos of Odin
and Ragnarok. Personally, I would have liked a little more
depth to the characters, especially regarding Dianaria's
motives, but for its short length it's a great cozy
afternoon or quick evening read that gets your heart
pumping. reviewed by:
