"Mystical Tale full of Plot Twists, Danger, and Intrigue!"
Sidra Patmos is a professor and knows all about medieval
alchemy. She also has the ability to see another side of
Manhattan that no one else can see: waiths that scream at
her for help. She meets Van Barlowe over the internet.
He will stop the creatures from haunting her, but in
exchange he needs her help. Time is running out for Van and his brothers. They were
cursed by their creator Isaac Newton and Van believes
Sidra is the key to their survival. Against Sidra's
better judgment, she finds herself involved with the sexy
immortal. As the past and the future start to intertwine,
others are determined to stop her from remembering that
she is the Alchemist. Ms. Cullen's mystical tale is full of plot twists, danger,
and intrigue. She intertwines facts and cleverly puts a
spin on the legendary philosopher's stone. She will make
the reader believe love can truly transcends time itself.
I do hope the author plans on writing a sequel! Well done!

Have you ever watched a street lamp flicker out as you walked by and wondered if you were the cause? Sidra Patmos has grown accustomed to Street Light Interference, or SLIding, but she’s also developed a horrifying ability to see the real underbelly of lower Manhattan—a frightening world where wraiths scream silently in the misty night and weave their way into her apartment, turning her days into waking nightmares, making her nights unbearable. Sidra meets SLIder expert Donovan Barlowe in a SoHo bar, hopeful that he’ll offer some explanation. Sidra’s meeting with the dark and irresistible Van Barlow unleashes a chain of events destined to change her life and her world. Three brothers—Van, Alexander, and Wentworth, scour the world in search of the Alchemist, a woman with the knowledge to rescue them from fated death. Created in the 17th Century by the Last Sorcerer, Sir Isaac Newton, and cursed by his dying breath to a lifespan of three hundred years, the Barlowe brothers know their time is at an end. That is, unless they find the Alchemist. Van’s sexual pull on Sidra is absolute, but she fights her growing passion for him. A sexy demon with a 300-year agenda is probably not the best boyfriend material. But she’s sucked into the vortex of Van’s frightening world and his dangerous passion, desperate to escape, but unable to leave him to die. While Sidra struggles to understand why she feels so intimately connected to her new lover, Van knows the truth: Sidra is the reincarnation of the Last Sorcerer; she is the Alchemist he seeks.
