"An amazing journey where love knows no time or bounds!"
I loved this book! Parallel Seduction by Diedre Knight was
so thoroughly and satisfyingly written. As a reader you
can't help but feel apart of the experience and passion of
this story. Scott Dillon is a hybrid alien that is part human and part
Antousian. It is important to understand this, because he
is a close friend/confidant and military leader to Jared
the King of the Rafarian people who are fighting to save
earth from the Antousian invasion. Already the conflict
that Scott lives with is one he can't escape. His heritage
is that of his enemy. Hope Harper is an amazing woman who will not be held back
by her diabetes or almost total blindness. In the previous
book Parallel Heat, Hope, an FBI linguist, saves Scott from
being killed during an Antousian invasion on one of earth's
military bases. This book pretty much opens right up where
the last left off. Now Hope is staying on their secret base, driven by the
connection she feels to Scott. One she doesn't totally
understand but trusts her instinct as they have never
steered her wrong. Scott is a man who feels less than
worthy of any woman especially Hope, because of how he
perceives himself their eyes. However another man has traveled back from the future in
order to warn the king of a traitor in their midst and
possibly prevent the devastation he left behind. Jakob
Tierney is also an Antousian, like Scott Dillon and does
not know how he will be received. He also knows he must at
all costs stay away from Scott who is renowned for his
Antousian tracking abilities. More than that, they share a
common bond for a woman they both want....Hope Harper. Parallel Seduction is an extremely excellent and well
thought out story that keeps twisting and turning. Just
when I thought I was figuring out the plot, Ms Knight would
turn another direction. I love how she writes and that
characters from previous books also continue their story in
the books that follow. Truly to enjoy this series I would
recommend reading all of the books in order. Parallel
Seduction is a magnificent story that I truly didn't want
to see end. Thank you so much Ms. Knight for this
fascinating and compelling series.
