"Thrilling Addition to Series"
Deidre Knight's newest entry in her exhilarating alternate
world series is another fast moving, action riddled and

fans alike. In the previous novel PARALLEL HEAT, legally blind FBI
linguist Hope Harper was instrumental in saving the life of
Scott Dillon after he was captured by the U.S. Military and
the base was attacked by the evil Antousian aliens.
Although with little history between them, Hope and Scott
are connected by identical sensual dreams that show them
married, with Hope pregnant and about to have a child. Unfortunately that dream is about to be shattered when a
visitor from a parallel timeline -- Jake Tierney comes back
in time to warn the King of traitors in his mist who would
be aiding the Antousian enemies in the destruction of the
humans on earth. Because of a fluke, Jake's mission proved
unnecessary and he knew he must return to his own time
before the dark secret of who he really was became known.
Unfortunately, he ran into Hope (a woman he knew intimately
in another time) when trying to escape. Even though she
did not know him instincts and her undeniable attraction
compelled her to help him escape. Caught in an unattainable
triangle, Hope would be faced with an impossible reality as
she is forced to make an agonizing decision between Jake
and Scott. Talk about mind-blowing originality -- this latest book by
Ms. Knight is absolutely wonderful. It gives the readers a
taste of everything they could possibly want in a highly
sensual action-packed tale of adventurous action and a
poignant everlasting love story. For those picking up this
series for the first time it gives enough references to
past events where it surely stands on it's own; and for
those who have been following the series from the start, it
keeps you up to date with what's going on in the lives of
past characters you've come to love. Hope is an unusual
heroine living with severe diabetes that is quickly making
her lose her eyesight. Even while bed-ridden and in pain
Scott is one very HOT and sexy hero, and Jake is one very
big steamy Mr. McDreamy who shares a mysterious past with
Hope that she is totally unaware of but feels the pull of
familiarity. The plot and twist ending to this fascinating
thriller is bound to bring a whole new slew of fans to
experience the brilliance of this very creative and
brilliant new wordsmith. This is highly recommended reading!
