"Alpha werewolf meets sassy human"
When the King demands a marriage, in order to spare her
younger sister, Emily volunteers to marry a Scottish laird,
Talorc Sinclair. Her arrival is less than welcomed and in
a spurt of temper at her treatment; she informs Talorc that
she'd rather marry a goat than him. Her only friend is
the Talorc's sister, Cait, who is 5 months pregnant. While
at the loch, the women are kidnapped by Lachlan, laird of
the Balmoral clan. Unknown to Emily, both clans are
Chrechte (wolf shifters). Lachlan's mother was not Chrechte; so he thought he
understood humans. Because of his parent's mixed match,
his brother was born human, not Chrechte and Lachlan feels
as laird he should marry a Chrechte female. This spunky
human Englishwoman defies his preconceptions and he is
finding it impossible to resist temptation. MOON AWAKENING is a medieval romance with paranormal
elements and definitely fiction not historical. Alpha
werewolf meets sassy human. The arrogance of Lachlan
because he is Chrechte and laird adds humor to the story as
he deals with his captive and resists temptation. I
enjoyed sassy Emily and the mixed feelings she has as she
finds herself attracted to her captor. The romance adds
enough steam to the trepidation of the women trying to
prevent war between the clans to make this a fulfilling
story in many aspects. For PNR & eBookIsle
