"Dragons and Slayers in love, OH MY!"
Stephanie Rowe has a wonderfully hilarious series on her
hands with her second book to Date Me Baby One More Time
called Must Love Dragons. In the first book Justine fell
in love in the midst of being the guardian of Mona the
goblet of eternal youth. As Must Love Dragons opens up we
discover Justine, now married, is on her honeymoon and has
assigned the protection of the goblet to her long time
friend and Dragon, Theresa Nichols. I mean how hard could
it be when they were only going to be gone a few weeks and
previous to that she and Theresa had spent more than 200
years together guarding the goblet? Unfortunately when you have been stuck in dragon form for
more than 200 years against your will, it makes it kind of
hard to go out to get something to eat let alone make
friends or lovers. There was one small saving grace when
she was stuck in dragon form... Zeke, her online cyber lover
for the last six months that decided he is going to move
on unless they meet in person. No longer is he buying
Theresa's cover story of being under quarantine and in the
FBI witness protection program. Theresa is just about out of her mind with hunger and
loneliness when she decides to make a deal with the devil
to get back her human form and a life. So eager is she to
make this deal she neglects to realize how much of her
dragon abilities she had become attached to will be left
behind. But hey, sex and Vic's yummy pretzels are worth it
right? Ms. Rowe has written another laugh out loud and enjoyably
qwerky novel that you won't want to miss. I would
recommend you start with the first book, Date Me Baby, One
More Time, however it is not necessary, it just helps to
add even more depth to the humor and plot. Must Love
Dragons has wonderful secondary characters that blow your
mind and tickle your funny bone as chaos ensues and
libidos go into overdrive. Must Love Dragons is definitely
a MUST read! I can't wait to read the next book in the
series, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Hot.
