"a wonderful book that I'd recommend to anyone"
Andreas who is an agent for Dept 57, a division of
national intelligence for the talented and supernatural,
is undercover trying to find an information leak in the
Department of Internal Business. A vampire with psi
abilities, he is playing the office hound dog so he can
check all of the employees and find the leak. Some one or
some agency is kidnapping talents and experimenting on
them, it has to be stopped. Andreas has left Roz for last
because he could imagine dating her for real and with his
persona he knows that she won't fall for him. Roz Templeton, a vampire who is undercover in the
Department of Internal Business for her family, is trying
to find information on two murders of the family last
year. The family members had been found tortured. She is
willing to do anything to get this information and stop it
from happening again. When her boss at DIB tells her to go
undercover at Dept 57 and use Andreas as a lover for
cover; she thinks this is above and beyond the call of
duty. Once they are alone though, the sparks fly and they
can't keep they're hands off of each other. I loved this book, couldn't put it down. The plot twists
and turns so much that you are never quite sure who the
bad guy is. I enjoyed this book so much that I will be
looking for the others in the series. Lynne Connolly
created a rich plot line with detailed secondary
characters; she makes you care about the characters and
want to find out more about them. Ms Connolly will be an
author that I will be watching for. This is a wonderful
book that I'd recommend to anyone. I can't wait to read
the next one.
