"an underwater fantasy that sizzled"
Valerian, the Nymph King, has it all. From his big,
muscled body to his overly handsome features, women flock
to him. With his undeniable looks and special sexual
scent, women are powerless to resist him. Along with his
warriors, they derive their strength from sex—lots of sex! In their world under the sea, they have taken over the
Dragon's domain as their own. The problem is they do not
have enough women to go around and the warriors are
suffering from lack of sex. To counteract this, Valerian
will go against the law of leaving their underwater world
to venture to the surface and take women to slate and
strengthen them. Shaye Octavia is one unhappy camper. She is at her
mother's wedding, another of her mother's long string of
marriages. Shaye would rather have surgery without
anesthesia than attend another one of her mother's darn
marriages. She will find herself out on the beach, getting away from
the wedding to-dos, only to see an incredible sight of
huge, gorgeous men walking out of the surface and right
toward her. One of those men in particular catches her
eye, but men are on her 'do not do list' as far as she is
concerned. Valerian is so used to women falling all over him that
when he sees the most breathtaking woman of his life, and
she could give a rip about him; in fact she wants nothing
to do with him, he is floored. Cannot she see what a
virile and handsome creature he is? How can this woman
resist him? He will have his hands full with this woman.
She is no pushover and couldn't care less who the hell he
is. Bring it on big boy, because she is more than enough
woman for him! The Nymph King is the latest release by Gena Showalter.
Ms. Showalter spun an erotic tale into an underwater
fantasy that sizzled from the moment this reviewer opened
the book. Her warriors are alpha to the core and sexy
enough to fire up every neuron in a woman's body. They are
big, gorgeous and with attitudes that will have you
begging for more. The main female is smart, snarky and a
perfect woman to handle her overbearing man. All this
reviewer can say is more please! Ms. Showalter's voice is carnally rich. The combinations
of sexual heat, fierce characters that captivate and
tease, and wondrous storytelling produce the perfect
chemistry in The Nymph King.
