"fast paced story of second chances"
Genevieve Orion had run away from her life eight months
ago because she couldn't deal with her boyfriend Joel
Maddox, a werewolf, keeping her away from that aspect of
his life. She had been trying to investigate the death of
her partner and Joel was stonewalling her at every point,
so she ran giving up her job as a detective. Now she's
back, and has to contact Joel to get some information on
another werewolf that the police are looking for. She
wonders within minutes of being near him how she ever
thought that she was over him and what she's going to do
now. Joel has been waiting for Gen to come back into his life
and now that she has there's no way he's going to let her
get away. He's determined to make her his mate no matter
what obstacles she throws in the way. He tells Gen that he
is willing to trade favors; she can have the location of
the wolf but only if she give him a second chance. Trading Favors is about two people trying to learn if love
is really enough or if love doesn't conquer all. I enjoyed
this book, it was fast paced and I liked the fact that
Genevieve made Joel work to prove that he really loves her
and is willing to make it work. Joel is also great because
he is willing to do anything to win her back. I think
every one likes the idea of a love so powerful that you
can't deny it.
