"exceptionally romantic"
A Time Travel read with wonderful depth, conflict and
romance. Karen Michelle Nutt's, Lost in the Mist of Time is an
exceptionally romantic
time travel read. She pulls out all the stops as the
adventure unfolds from the
1st page and doesn't let up until the end. All lose ends
are pulled together
without being rushed leaving the reader feeling very
satisfied. The heroine, Aislinn Hennessy is a successful romance
writer in today's world.
Or as he brother so indelicately calls it, smut books. The
irony is she has
never found or experienced true love and still retains her
virginity. Don't get
me wrong, Aislinn is far from being frigid or innocent as
she manages to have
relationships with men she can either control or walk all
over and as soon as
she realizes it she discards them. What Aislinn needs is a
man she can't lead by
the nose but rather stand beside her and show her what
love is about. Enter our hero from the 16th century Ireland. Sir Dougray
Fitzpatrick, Lord of
Dunhaven. He has already loved and lost, as his wife died
in a tragic riding
accident only a couple weeks after their marriage. Some
time passes and Neala
the local witch/crone and friend to Dougray has summoned
him to tell of a vision
she had about a magical mist that will carry him away from
this time to meet a
woman who will save his 'future born.' Through these two very resilient and stubborn characters,
Ms. Nutt weaves an
amazing plot of intrigue, romance and self discovery. I am
a big fan of time
travel romance and Lost in the Mist of Time exceeded my
expectations with all
the adventure, plot twists and humor.
