Short stories in this anthology are: "A Whisper of Spring" by Lynn Kurland. "When Winter Comes" by Sharon Shinn. "The Kiss of the Snow Queen" by Claire Delacroix. "A Gift of Wings" by Sarah Monette.

I enjoy anthologies when life requirements limit time for reading to a "quick fix". I originally took a second look at this anthology because of the authors - L. Kurland and S. Shinn have won awards in Sci-fi and I have enjoyed their stories and C. Delacroix has award winning Historical series which I have on my keeper shelf.

Needless to say, I read this book with high expectations. I was not disappointed. (Otherwise you would not be reading this review!) For those who enjoy romances with a mix of imagination and HEA (Happily Ever After), this is an excellent anthology. This anthology presents short Quest Fantasy at its best! Each story ended with emotionally satisfying HEA which leaves reader ready to return to real world feeling encouraged.

I'd like to mention that I saw this book in LARGE PRINT (ISBN-13: 9780786285907) today on the library shelf. A Local Chapter donates Large Print and audio-books to the library and this was one of their choices.
