"crazy paranormal romantic romp"

In 1925 on the luxurious SS Majestic that he owns, Randolph St. Croix breaks off his engagement to Eloise Hogue to propose to flapper Daisy Alton. She accepts his family heirloom, a six carat fire opal in the center of diamonds, as an engagement gift. Not long afterward, Daisy allegedly killed Randolph and committed suicide. No gun was found and the SS Majestic went into mothballs as no one wanted to ride a vessel allegedly haunted by the killer ghost.

The great nephew of Randolph, Sexton St. Croix, takes the SS Majestic out to sea on a five day psychic cruise that he figures will end the nonsense. He brings with him one supposedly reputable ESP whiz, Bree Emery, who resides in Daisy's cabin, unchanged since 1925. Though attracted to the skeptical Randolph especially after viewing his homage to the Big Mac, following contact with Daisy, Bree believes the ill fated dancer and her beloved were murdered by a third party. To free the ghost, she must solve the homicides while other psychics dance the high wire of shams. Randolph scoffs at her firmly convinced Daisy murdered his relative.

No one does crazy romantic romps that have readers laughing one moment and feeling the passion the next than Kate Angell does. Her latest tale is a fabulous paranormal romance with a wonderful historical who-done- it. The story line is hilarious and ardent from the Big Mac to the ghostly high wire as a cruse ship has not ever been quite as majestic as this one. Fans will treasure the modern day romance between the clairvoyant and the skeptic, and the love story that transcends time.

SUMMARY

Promenade Deck May 1925

In a world that barely acknowledges knees, Randolph St. Croix was suddenly taken by a pair of curvy gams. Gams in twisted and knotted silk stockings worn just above the knee, exposed when the ocean breeze blew up the young woman's skirt. Her demure, white cotton shirtwaist appeared too innocent for the bold look in her eyes. Her red lips were turned in a practiced Venus-surprised-at-the-bath sort of way.

Admiring her beauty, Randolph cleared his throat and called to mind he was a respectable, soon-to-be-married man.

"Got a ciggy?" The woman's question rose on the breeze.

He removed a cigarette from his silver case and passed it to her.

There was a restlessness to her spirit that drew him to watch her smoke. No other lady of his acquaintance made love to a Camel with her lips as this young blonde was now doing.

Given her powdered face, her rouged cheeks, her artifically darkened eyes, and her mouth painted and moist, she could only be a flapper. A bold, hedonistic woman of the Jazz Age.
