When he learned of his father's death, Gareth returns home

grabbing use. However, to her shame she falls in love with
Gareth, who bears the mark of this chalice on him that her
odious foe wants. As Gareth returns her feelings of love he
and Roxanna team up to challenge the mightiest vampire of
them all. The third medieval paranormal romance (see THE DEVIL'S
KNIGHT and MY DEMON'S KISS) is a delightful star-cross
lovers' tale starring a courageous male human and a much
more powerful female vampiress. The change in Roxanna from
seeing her as a prisoner to falling in love with her
soulmate is handled deftly and given the time to evolve
(reverse Stockholm syndrome aside). Readers will enjoy the
latest thriller as good (the lead couple) battles superior
