"Really funny story!"
Allard is a computer geek. Now that two of his co- workers
were fired and he was left with all their work, he's ready
to find another job. Not only is he bored to tears, he's
also way overworked. While going through the want ads, one
really catches his attention. It's to work on a ship. Of
course, he's not sure about the philosophy of working on a
Syndicated ship, but it can't be any worse than what he's
doing now. Out goes his resume and back comes a time for an
interview. Allard goes and meets the captain of the ship,
Vaughn, and the next thing you know, he's hired. The fact
the ship's AI wants to keep Allard doesn't hurt either. Accompanying Allard, Vaughn helps him clean out his desk
and his apartment and moves him into quarters on the ship.
Even though they both prefer women, Allard and Vaughn enter
into a sexual relationship. The two of them become closer.
Allard has done wonders with the computers on the ship and
things are going well. Will Allard sign on as a member of the crew? Or will he
keep his short term contract? THE SYNDICATE: VOLUME 1 is a hilariously funny story! Jules
Jones and Alex Woolgrave have done a wonderful job of
writing a futuristic story filled with all kinds of weird
and zany characters, from the voyeur who bugs everything
and everyone, to the two women of the crew. Allard is a
typical computer geek, smart, skinny and with an enormous
ego and attitude. Vaughn is a big teddy bear, big, kind and
loves to cuddle. I love the way Allard and Vaughn always
fought about who would be "on top" and how neither one of
them was willing to be submissive to the other. If you're
in the mood for a good laugh, don't miss this one!

What's a computer geek to do when his sys-admin job becomes so boring that not even making life hell for the users on his network seems like fun anymore? Run away to space, of course! Now Allard's stuck on a spaceship with another very hunky man—and he's about to discover that even wise-cracking geeks like him have sex lives. And thanks to a voyeuristic crewmate, so are the rest of their sexy shipmates.
