"Intriguing look at alien cultures!"
Dr. Darwin Glase, Xeno-Anthropologist, is only here because
he was told of a new species. As he's walking along, which
is not very easy to do in the biosuit, he finally finds the
building the captain told him about. Might be promising.
The next thing you know, he sees a white streak fly past
him. He follows it. He finds a female up in a tree picking
fruit. Of course, when he notices she's a Seeltic, he's
somewhat disappointed. Seeltics are not a new species.
Unfortunately, they are on the endangered species list,
along with Humins, which is what Darwin happens to be. The
two of them begin talking and the Seeltic, or Nadenka,
hears someone approaching. She grabs Darwin and the two of
them run away from the sound. The next thing you know, Nadenka has claws and begins
ripping up his biosuit. Once she exposes Darwin's neck, she
sinks her fangs into him and he becomes paralyzed! This is
definitely not normal. Darwin has never heard of a Seeltic
with fangs or claws. Just what is going on here? Once
Nadenka has her way with Darwin, they get captured and
taken back to the building. Once he is introduced to the
leader of the Seeltics, Darwin decides to stay and do some
studying of this species. Why is Nadenka different from all the other Seeltics? Just
what is going on here? Exactly what is Dr. Rus doing with
Nadenka? DARWIN'S THEORY is a highly original look at alien
cultures. Elayne Venton has done a wonderful job of
bringing her characters to life in this intriguing look at
the possibilities of what might occur with genetic
manipulation. The settings are fantastic, the premise
thought provoking and the sex is hot!

Desperate measures… Faced with the threat of extinction for their peaceful race, the Seeltics hire bio-engineers to attempt the unthinkable -- a Seeltic-Alien Hybrid. They got more than they ever bargained for. Nadenka’s feral desire to mate can be deadly. Years of training and professional ethics warn Darwin, the Humin Xeno-Anthropologist, not to get involved. He’s strictly an observer. But professional distance is hard to maintain when faced with a beautiful -- and deadly -- female whose one desire is to claim him as her mate. The Seeltics see Nadenka as the only hope for the survival of their species -- as a breeder. Each passing day brings her closer to Darwin, yet further from her creators’ goals. Only Darwin’s love can save Nadenka from those intent on destroying her…
