When the second book in this series ended, Kyla had just
managed to escape Telmira with her Telmiran Night Cat
companion, Lassie. As this book starts, Kyla and Lassie are
now on Earth, the same place her older sister Susoma
happens to be currently. Kyla and Lassie are met by a
woman, Rechazes. Rechazes takes them to the forest for the
night and leaves them with her SUV. Sad at leaving her
lover, Eros, behind on Telmira, Kyla dreams he comes to
her. The next morning, they are to leave for a safe house.
It seems Rechazes is part of an organization, Atlantee.
This organization takes in women fleeing their future on
Telmira and keeps them safe from the Compliance Agents. When they get to the safe house where they are to spend the
night, Lassie takes off into the woods. Kyla manages to
contact Susoma using her crystal and finds out her older
sister is pregnant with a vampire's baby! Unwillingly,
Susoma agrees to give Kyla some time to adjust to life on
Earth before the two of them will meet. Meanwhile, there
are two of the best Compliance Agents after both Kyla and
Susoma. Will the two sisters manage to elude the Compliance Agents?
Exactly who or what is Lassie? Will Kyla ever get over
leaving Eros behind? Will Kyla's vampire lover keep her
safe from the Compliance Agents? DAUGHTERS OF TAKIRA III: REVELATIONS is a wonderful tale of
alien cultures all mixing together on Earth. Marilyn Lee
has done a wonderful job of showing us not only the
feelings of the fugitives from Telmira, but of the
Compliance Agents as well in this third story in the
DAUGHTERS OF TAKIRA series. I love all the new
little "additions" that keep popping up in the series!
There's a little of everything in this story, from
shapeshifters to vampires and aliens. For a really hot
erotic read of a mixture of entities, you don't want to
miss this one!
