Now that Tar, the ruler of Zylan, has his life-mate, Nyssa,
we move on the story of Mica, the High Priest of Zylan. We
were introduced to Mica in the first book of the series,
along with Tala, Tar's little sister. Mica has known Tala
is his life-mate since she was twelve years of age. Wanting
to give her some freedom before claiming her, he has waited
several years. During this time, Tala has become
independent and gets along very well with Nyssa. Since Tala
has made her decision to join the Selven Priestesses known,
Mica knows he must act before too much longer. However,
every time he tries get Tala alone, she avoids him. Tala has been in love with Mica forever, at least it feels
that way to her. Now long past the age of claiming, Tala
has no desire to have any man other than Mica touching her.
Since she fears some other man will claim her, Tala has
decided to join the Selven Priestesses. Once she becomes a
full-fledged Priestess, the links will be removed from
Tala's body and she will not be able to be claimed anymore.
So off she heads to the Refuge. Meanwhile, Mica has just learned his brother, Raj, has been
badly injured and the healer with him can do no more for
him. What will Mica do? Will he go and cure his brother? Or will
he claim his life-mate? Will Tala be content to wait for
Mica? Or will she take her vows? SELVEN REFUGE ZYLAR'S MOONS BOOK 2 gives us another
fascinating look into the Zylar world and customs. Ravyn
Wilde has once again proven her wild imagination with the
world of Zylar. From lavender colored water to removing
clothing with a thought, Dorothy has definitely left
Kansas. We are also introduced to a new type of being, the
Vampen, through Raj. I can't wait to learn more about them!

Mica knew almost since Tala's birth that she was his mate.
He waited to call the chains from her body and claim her as
his, until he felt she was ready. Now he has waited too long...
Tala had loved Mica forever. But he would have claimed her
long before now, if she were his link mate. Wanting to be
tied to no other man, Tala leaves to take vows with the
Selven Goddesses. The links will be forever removed from her
