"A suspenseful SF Romance"
Claire Holliday is surprised when a dolphin beaches itself
in front of her. She uses her empathic healing abilities
to save him. Only to see the dolphin turn into a very
handsome, very naked man. The man and several others grab
her and run to the ocean. At the ocean, the people turn
into merfolk and take her beneath the water. Claire finds
out that she is the captive of rebels, who wish to take
over Atlantium. Her main jailer, Eros, is very attractive
and she is drawn to him. However, the Atlanteans
communicate telepathically, and she doesn't know if he is
manipulating her. The Atlanteans seek to use her abilities
to help them overthrow the council and Thor. There is war
coming to Atlantium, and Claire is caught in the middle of
it. Can she trust Eros, and will they survive the upheaval
to come? MAIDEN OF ATLANTIS is an enjoyable science fiction romance
with lots and lots of action and suspense. Ms. Morin
creates an interesting take on the Atlantis mythology.
This book grabbed my attention from the first and didn't
let go until the end. I found that I disliked the rebels
intensely, and I was a little apprehensive about Eros. All
I can say is that Eros turned out to be a great hero. I
highly recommend MAIDEN OF ATLANTIS.
