"Terrific Torrid TimeTravel"
For those of you who have ever had a fantasy or two of
traveling back in time to find the perfect lover -- your
soulmate -- then you've found the perfect place, right here
between the covers of this very sexy, and sensually
evocative novel -- ANCIENT TIES. On a summer vacation meant to soothe her devastated heart
caused by her cheating ex-husband, Janney Forrester gets
the bargain of all travel packages -- namely, a side-trip
back 2000 years to the Roman occupation of Britania.
Stepping thru a portal to see what was on the other side of
a ruined wall, Janney discovered a world intact, and a
Roman soldier who was every woman's dream come true. Marek Benin Verus was a battle weary soldier who had come
to the realization that the killing machine he'd become
over the years no longer held appeal. On the other hand,
the blond beauty he discovered dressed in odd but very
figure revealing clothes was more than appealing. To him -- she was a gift from the Gods, and one he was going to
relish conquering. *** Not only does this offer up fantasy and time travel,
but it is a total smorgasbord of sensual entrees! As much
as she was attracted to the Roman soldier, Janney's
distrust of males, and he was surely an ALPHA MALE, was a
big hurdle to overcome. I loved the way the author handled
the language issue, and the interference and battles
between the Gods, Mars and Venus were a light touch that
was extremely amusing. Not only do you find some very
sensually hot sex but along with this, you also have a full-
bodied, emotional, and enjoyable story where you come to
know and love the characters. Vivid imagery, solid
characterizations, and emotionally satisfying -- this is
definitely a book I can recommend!
