"Enjoyable shape shifter, erotic romance series"
Garth is a werewolf on the run from a CIA agent sent by his
former boss, who trumped up charges against him. Garth's
boss seeks proof, that Garth is a werewolf, which could,
also, endanger his family. Garth goes to hide out for a few
days with his sister, Belle, and her husband, Alex. Once
there, Garth learns that his one true mate, Eileen has
found sanctuary from an abusive mate with Alex's pack. Ten
year's ago, Eileen and Garth were separated by Eileen's
family and Garth and his family were unable to find her.
Will Garth stay on the run now that he has, finally, found
Eileen again? Ms. Mays continues one of my favorite shape shifter series
with SOLSTICE HEAT, and she doesn't disappoint. Garth and
Eileen are great characters with a love that withstands
many obstacles. Eileen has to come to terms with her
family's betrayal and an abusive relationship with the mate
her family forces on her. Garth, a loner by nature, is
willing to compromise so that Eileen will be happy. Not
only are the main characters enjoyable, but the secondary
characters are a real treat. The ribbing between the pack
members and the family members is humorous and shows a deep
affection. However, my favorite secondary character is
Belle's smart-mouthed cat, Callie. I love Callie! I highly recommend SOLSTICE HEAT to the reader of shape
shifter, erotic romance and can't wait for the next

Eileen, Eileen, Eileen. Her name pounded through Garth's
veins as he ran towards her cabin. Years ago, her parents
had torn her from his arms, spirited her away in the dead
of night, and disappeared. Now, he'd found her again. All
these years, he'd never forgotten her sure that he'd find
her again. Soon she'd be in his arms again. Eileen was speechless. Garth stood in front of her. The
Were she'd loved and mated so many years ago had found her.
She should be ecstatic! However, her parents had coerced
her into mating another. True, after he'd abused her, she'd
repudiated and left him, but in her mind she'd betrayed
Garth's love. He wouldn't want her now. Love would triumph over misunderstanding and feelings of
betrayal. Once mated, the bond shared by male and female
werewolves was unbreakable. Garth and Eileen could be happy
again. But, Eileen's violent mate wanted her back. And—the
CIA is hunting Garth.
