"A quest grounded in love, honor and commitment"
REILEY'S LAW is the first of Zebra's Ballad Romance Line.
My personal feeling is that a "true" romantic story is
where the hero and heroine work together and REILLY'S LAW
is a true romance. The story keeps your attention from the
prolog until the ending. Emilynne is desperately fleeing England to protect her
brother's children. When Emilynne throws herself in
Bryan's arms, he discovers the Reilly Blessing is much more
than the child's tale he had remembers from his
grandmother. The road to true love is not smooth, and as
events unfold, Bryan often questions if he has chosen the
blessing as he thought or the curse. He must choose
between family commitments and honoring the promises he
made Emilynne. Along the way to England and then back to
Irish court, Emilynne is asked to trust Bryan with the fate
of the children which is more difficult than trusting him
with her own fate and love. The author keeps you attention with a well-written tale of
two people fulfilling a quest grounded in love, honor and
commitment. An interesting story with no need for
gimmicks or complicated twists, although that is not to say
there are not surprise events to add spice. The Reilly
family legacy of BLESSING OR CURSE adds a touch of destiny
to the love between Emilynne and Bryan Reilly but does not
overshadow their own choices in determining their own
futures. I am looking forward to reading his brother's stories in
REILLY'S GOLD and REILLY'S PRIDE. Cy Korte © Copyright May 2000 for eBOOKISLE.com &
