"CELESTIAL PASSION: BRIANNA is a very enjoyable erotic, science fiction romance"
Brianna O'Shea escapes a top secret military facility with
two alien specimens, that were going to be dissected. She
drives to a remote area, which was pointed out by the
aliens. Once there, soldiers try and recapture the aliens
but are thwarted by the aliens being beamed aboard their
ship. Unfortunately, Brianna was beamed aboard ,as well,
and she was shot by the soldiers. Bakom, a scientist with
great political power, smuggles her to a lab, where he
plans to administer many "humanity' tests on her. Brianna
is saved by the handsome captain, Alalakan don al'
Charrladon. Char and his family, a powerful trading clan,
have been trying to disrupt the growing power of the evil
Bakom, and Brianna gets mixed up in their political
struggles. CELESTIAL PASSION: BRIANNA is a very enjoyable erotic,
science fiction romance, with interesting characters and an
intriguing plot. Ms. Mays creates a spectacular world
peopled by interesting and diverse alien cultures. I was
totally absorbed in this book and didn't want it to end!
There was a great deal of humor associated with many of the
culture clashes, and I couldn't get enough of the different
species. I , especially, liked the cat-like Gattons and
hope to see another book with a focus on a character from
Gatton, a matriarchal society. Char is a great hero, who sometimes doesn't know how to
handle his fiery mate. Brianna is a strong woman with a
great deal of determination, and she plans on keeping her
planet safe and staying with her man. This couple and their
friends and relatives made a lasting impression on me, and
I can't wait to savor the next book which takes place in
this world. Posted March 27, 2005

Brianna did what any other decent human being would do— rescue a pair of aliens her boss was about to dissect, and get them back to their space ship. In the process, she was captured by an alien scientist and became a experiment herself—a sexual experiment. Captain Alalakan don al' Chardadon was not about to let Dr. Rodak don al' Bakom conduct his ridiculous sexual experiments on an inhabitant from a newly discovered world. Even if it meant he had to marry the Earth woman to protect her. Marriages were easily dissolved on his planet, and this alien was very beautiful. Besides, he wanted her—in his bed, on the floor, against the wall, or anywhere else he could think of. Brianna had to choose—marry the captain or try to find another way to escape Bakom. Easy choice. Even though he was an alien, Char was the most desirable man she'd ever met. So, Brianna finds herself hurtling through space married to a very sexy alien—with a very flexible tail—from a planet where hedonism is the norm and there are three sexes: male, female, and hermaphrodite. But Bakom wanted Brianna too, and is willing to do anything to get her back.
